We are delighted to have been selected by the
Department for Work
and Pensions to help support its' Jobcentre Plus initiative aimed
at getting newly unemployed professionals back to work.
People referred to us by
Jobcentre Plus will receive free career counselling and guidance
on topics such as CV writing, interviewing skills, market
intelligence and job search techniques including making best use of
the internet to find work.
This is in recognition that job hunting has changed hugely, and
significantly moved online and to agencies in the last 10 years. Now
you can find out how to take best advantage of this to find your
next role.
CONTENT
The one day course includes:

- how to get short listed above others
- An insight into how agencies search for candidates
- job boards: job search and optimising your profile
- search engines
- employer web sites: finding jobs and contacts
- Making best use of the Press for leads and contacts
- Interview techniques

- Creating your personal action plan
- Follow up support
