In this key senior management role you will be
responsible for managing the strategic bid
management and estimating operations for this major
timber frame engineering / construction business.
The company has a strong track record of success and
ambitous future growth plans - this role is key to
the successful winning of future workloads.
You will be responsible for ensuring accurate,
competitive and professionally presented bids and
tenders are provided to clients within the expected
timescales. Projects are wide ranging and include
housing, apartments, affordable housing, hotels,
commercial offices, healthcare and more. The company
deal with significant sized projects including with
major developers.
The key skills required for this post are:
- Knowledge of construction estimating, and ideally
Timber Frame estimating
- Ability to work under pressure to achieve strict
output deadlines
- Ability to manage and develop a team of staff
- Strong, proactive commercial and contractual
awareness
- Knowledge of pricing and costing in construction
industry
- Ability to develop working relationships at all
levels
