Production Manager role with a world leader in the
manufacture and supply of a wide range of products
for automation and special purpose machine projects.
They have successfully maintained their world
leading position through innovation and improvement,
whilst keeping the best aspects of being an
independent company with traditional values.
As a key member of their senior management team, the
Production Manager will be responsible for all
aspects of Production on this, their main UK site.
You will take on responsibility for managing approx.
60 staff achieving on-time delivery, quality and
costs relating to the production team, and fostering
continuous improvement, through good people
management and communication skills.
You will need to be focused on the implementation
and improvement of manufacturing techniques as well
as achieving key metrics & KPI's, including:

- Schedule adherence
- Quality
- Productivity
- Waste reduction
Are you a degree educated (or equivalent)
professional, with a proven track record in
delivering lean manufacturing?
Have you a proactive approach to metrics achievement
and continuous improvement?
Can you bring excellent people-management and
communication skills to good effect?
