We are seeking an experienced construction Project Manager with experience and understanding of offsite manufacturing for construction and the skills and experience to manage housing / residential building projects successfully from start to finish - both for private development and Housing Associations..

This role requires a self starter with a rare mix of understanding both construction; how to get a housing / residential project completed on time and on budget, and understanding how offsite construction methods and Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) should be implemented for greatest benefit. You will be confident managing sub contractors and dealing personally with surveying and commercial / cost management issues.

Our client, part of a large and international investment group, is building a very exciting new business to develop exceptional quality housing with very strong eco home credentials. They have done all the planning and are ready to go: they just need you to manage the build aspect of the business! There is potential for significant and rapid increase in responsibilities with further site starts planned.

Experience of MMC materials, particularly Insulated Concrete Formwork ( ICF ) is beneficial though not essential, as is implementing sustainable technologies such as ground source heat pumps, photovoltaic's, rain water harvesting, SIPS panels and more. Their intention is to lift the quality of UK housing, in sustainability terms and desirability. They already have a proven track record internationally, and have well formed plans.
