We are retained by a long term key client to fill a key Structural Engineering Manager role.
Are you an ambitious Chartered Engineer with management aptitude / experience and ready to take on further responsibility in a fast paced design environment?

The company is a steel structures specialist carrying out design, fabrication and installation, particularly for wide ranging and the more interesting telecomms masts and towers projects (including large guyed structures and tree ranges), though also steel piling systems, walkways, bridges, and even structural public artworks! They work mainly in hot rolled steel as well as cold rolled and light steel structures. They have a strong track record of growth and profitability, and have developed the business well in existing and new areas. They are currently ahead of targets for the year and developing new areas of business, particularly in the massive rail and highways sectors.

You will take on responsibility for managing a team of currently 4 Engineers, as well as overseeing the Drawing Office CAD Team of a further 6 staff. there is a large and fast moving project workload to manage and take a hands on design involvement with. You will need to be able to work quickly, and prioritise effectively. You need to have attained Chartered Civil or Structural Engineer status ( MICE or MIStruct E ).

They are prepared to pay a very competitive salary to attract the right candidate. The package also includes a pension contribution (3%), 25 days holiday, and a profit related bonus (circa 10%). Relocation assistance may be considered. Staff are genuinely looked after in this business - (they are a good client but not frequent - due to a low staff turnover!)
