Graduate Geotechnical Engineer

We are retained by a long term key client to fill a Graduate Geotechnical Engineer role.
Are you an ambitious Engineer with a relevant degree and experience in geotechnical engineering?

The company is a steel structures specialist carrying out design, fabrication and installation, particularly for wide ranging and the more interesting telecomms masts and towers projects (including large guyed structures and tree ranges), and also steel screw piling systems, walkways, bridges, and even structural public artworks! They work mainly in hot rolled steel as well as cold rolled and light steel structures. They have a strong track record of growth and profitability, and have developed the business well in existing and new areas. They are currently ahead of targets for the year and developing new areas of business, particularly in the massive rail and highways sectors.

You will be reporting to a senior structural engineer and involved both in the design work primarily for their proprietary steel screw piling systems (designed and manufactured for rail location platforms and telecomms masts and towers) and also site supervision. This role ensures you will have an excellent opportunity not only to design but also to gain exposure to manufacturing, installation and product development of these innovative products. You will also have an opportunity to develop client liaison skills along with the technical elements of the role. Benefits:
They are prepared to pay a very competitive salary to attract the right candidate. The package also includes a pension contribution (3%), 25 days holiday, and a profit related bonus (circa 10%). Relocation assistance may be considered. Staff are genuinely looked after in this business - (they are a good client but not frequent - due to a low staff turnover!)
