Working as a Structural AutoCAD Technician within the Engineering Consultancy Division of this large private business you will have the opportunity to get involved in design and draughting on wide ranging and interesting projects including major steel structures and landmark projects. Our client, a multi-disciplinary engineering / manufacturing company, is looking for a Civil / Structural Technician to work on the detailing of building structures.

Working largely unsupervised and liaising with Project Engineers and Architects, you will be responsible for producing technical solutions and CAD ( AutoCAD ) models for building structures. The role will also have involvement with other divisions of the company, assisting with detailing for car park and modular structures.

You are likely to have solid experience in a Structural Technician / Detailer / Draughting position, and have experience in liaising with contractors, engineers and architects. You are self-motivated and able to work unsupervised using your initiative.
