A key Operations Manager role with a leading medical device
manufacturing company. We are retained to source a senior
manufacturing professional from a Production Manager /
Manufacturing Manager background seeking a strategic
management role. You will bring a high regard for quality
and improving manufacturing efficiencies in a clinical
environment. Ideally you will be from a pharmaceutical /
medical or related manufacturing environment with experience
in medium volume manufacturing to exacting quality
standards.
Reporting to the Manufacturing Director you will take on
responsibility and control for all manufacturing activities
including: quality systems, purchasing, production control
and manufacturing through the timely control and provision
of resources and adequate training for all employees.
DUTIES:
- Systematic planning and control of all production
management activities
- Setting and attaining high levels of throughput, quality
and customer service in terms of meeting requirements and
delivery to schedule
- Maximisation of productivity
- Optimisation of the use of resources - people, plant,
equipment, tools, inventory, premises and information
systems
- Minimising manufacturing inventory, maintenance and
distribution costs
- Improve the levels of skills, motivation and commitment of
the workforce
We are seeking a professional manager, ideally degree
qualified with mechanical and electrical expertise and
strong technical management capabilities.
