An important Business Development Manager role selling to
Builders Merchants across the North West. We seek an
experienced sales professional on behalf of our major timber
engineering client to develop new business into the merchant
sector. The company already have a strong reputation with
Housing Developers and Building Contractors and direct trade
sales and are now seeking to expand and target in this new
route to market.
We seek candidates with a strong track record and extensive
contacts throughout the builders merchant sector in the
North West Region. You will need to bring strong new
business development skills - this is to break the company
into the merchant market rather than retain and grow
existing business.
The company is a major provider of high quality timber and
timber engineered products, though your experience could
well be in other construction materials related areas. They
are secure and long established and are growing steadily
with increasing demand. They view this role as being
important to their development and there are therefore
excellent prospects for success here.

The package will consist of a good basic salary and bonus
scheme (To be negotiated - the company will build the right
package for the successful candidate) along with company
car, phone, pension etc
