Salary £25-30,000 depending on experience
Supervisor or Team Leader required to take on Assistant
Production Manager role with a market leading manufacturer
of timber engineered products such as timber roof trusses,
joists and i-beams.
The contribution of every member of staff to the performance
of the business is valued in this well established and
growing company.
Reporting to the Production Manager, the Production
Supervisor will:
:: Take a hands-on leadership role with all factory labour
:: Ensure the appropriate training is delivered to the
manufacturing workforce
:: Ensure production targets are met and review performance
against targets
:: Input into manpower budgeting and recruitment
:: Manage safety and maintenance of plant and equipment
:: Take a proactive role in performance and discipline
The successful candidate MUST have:
:: Timber related manufacturing experience (Knowledge of
timber engineered products ideally: timber roof trusses,
joists, i-beams )
:: Staff supervision experience
Additionally the successful candidate will need to
demonstrate the following:
:: A "can do", results-oriented approach, setting targets
for self and others and continually looking to improve
:: A "right first time" attitude
:: Understanding of customers expectations, including
housing developers, main contractors, builders merchants
:: Excellent communication and leadership skills with an
ability to maintain effective and co-operative working
relationships
as an experienced Production Supervisor / Team Leader /
Foreman - this is an excellent opportunity to step up to the
next level in production management.
Salary is flexible - largely dependent upon experience
Benefits include pension contribution (up to 6%), 22 days
holiday (plus statutory days) and a bonus scheme.
