Opportunity for a Structural Engineer experienced in timber frame design, to take on a wide ranging structural design role focussed primarily on Timber Frame Building Structures design and estimating, though also involved with a wide range of private development schemes throughout the region. You will be working in a small team within an architectural and engineering practice, and with good technician and cad support, part of a timber engineering and construction group. You will be able to take full responsibility for all structural engineering and broader technical management on projects, including some estimating. Experience will cover design in timber frame, steel, masonry, reinforced concrete and foundations. Projects include both housing and commercial developments. Candidates should be Chartered or working towards Chartered status, with working knowledge of the UK codes of practice. We seek candidates confident to present to clients.
