Specialist automated machinery manufacturer with immediate opportunity for a skilled Service Engineer / Development Engineer offering extensive travel UK and worldwide.
The company has a wide and high quality client base across many engineering and aerospace sectors.
They are renowned for quality and service, and this client facing role is therefore key to maintaining their reputation.

The role:
Generate manufacturing folder for production team (design and produce drawings and component listings for production to assembly).
Test and setup of automated machinery
Installation and setup of equipment on customer's sites
Training of customer staff in equipment usage
Maintenance and servicing, fault finding and rectifications of problems
Annual calibrations of equipment
40-50% travel away from base at customer's facilities worldwide

Core skills:
General knowledge and experience with automated machinery
Knowledge and experience in and working with Servo motion control systems
Good electronic knowledge with a recognised electronics qualification
Knowledge and experience in and working with mixed signal processing ( analogue and digital )
Produce and read electronic circuit diagrams
Use electronic laboratory equipment (e.g. oscilloscope, signal generators, etc.)
PC literate and experienced in installing hardware and software
Strong electrical switchgear knowledge
Knowledge and experience in and working with PLCs and logic control


We seek candidates who are flexible for significant travel overseas and throughout the UK and who enjoy meeting customers

Key skills may include;
Service Engineer, special purpose machinery, manufacturing, testing, scanning, servo motor controls, electronics
