    Mo the ARV Solutions dog joins the team! He particularly likes coming in on Friday mornings so doesn’t miss out on his bacon and sausage sandwich with the rest of the team!  

  • DWP Contract awarded

    2010 saw us awarded a contract with the Department for Work and Pensions to provide back to work support for unemployed professionals.

    This was a time when long term employees found themselves out of work, often for the first time in many years. We advised on how to seek work in the internet era, whereas most had previously relied on Newspaper adverts previously!

    We rented our first office and Sue Eustace joined the team! We might have moved on from that office but Sue, our longest serving team member is still with us today!

  • ARV Solutions is formed!

    In late 2003 ARV Solutions was established as a specialist recruitment agency by Jim Roach, following 14 years main-stream recruitment agency experience across construction, manufacturing and engineering.

    It was time to go it alone, and create the business and environment I really wanted to work in. I was idealistic about wanting to rise above the hard sell, numbers driven, and league table mentality in recruitment. I was certain there was a more collaborative way to work, bringing clients and candidates with us, building trust and partnerships. 

    I’m proud that we’ve held true to all these ideals, and had a lot of fun (and no end of hard work!) building a business where people come first, they are rewarded for collaboration and quality, and we have so many loyal clients and a great reputation.

We uniquely work with and support key offsite construction industry organisations. It is important to us to be active members of the Trade Associations which in turn support the industries we work across. We aim to help promote best practice, training, and development and bring our unique perspective to benefit wherever possible. We enthusiastically sponsor and exhibit at many industry events and expos.

As Members of these organisations we hope to continue to grow our involvement in promoting them. We particularly work to  promote training and career opportunities within the industry.

Our environment, sustainability and reduction of our carbon footprint has always been important to us individually and as a business. We are continually looking for ways to improve our green credentials and aim to become carbon neutral. In 2022, we reduced our energy consumption by an estimated 70%. We care about our communities, understanding that these include our local area, our industry sector, our staff and families, as well as the wider global community.

  • As an Investors in People Platinum accredited organisation we are highly committed to training and developing our people within a collaborative and supportive environment, with commitments to Diversity & Inclusion and Mental Wellbeing
