Opportunities like this don't come along very often, so if you're an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer, with a good record of success, we would be keen to hear from you.

We are working with a relatively new company who are already seeing success, with a product that is in huge demand, and the factory is already busy fulfilling their existing orders with more orders on their way.  The company is keen to instil a culture of collaboration, placing a huge priority on its people.  Although benefits are still being finally formalised, they are already offering (in addition to their competitive salaries) a bonus scheme, health insurance, a good holiday allowance and health and death in service insurance.

Your role as Material & Supplier Quality Engineer will involve the development and implementation of new procedures for supplier management, working closely with suppliers for risk analysis and root cause analysis.  This will involve the visiting of supplier sites for auditing and performance monitoring purposes.

You will be reporting into the Supply Chain Manager, involved in all aspects of the supplier part of the supply chain, incorporating selection, monitoring/auditing, reporting and driving improvement.  You will also be involved in materials with a view to quality, including auditing stores, ensuring correct storage of hazardous materials and updating/maintaining safety information.

We are looking for experienced Supplier Quality Engineers who are:

  • Degree qualified in business, engineering or other technical discipline
  • Good communication skills including presentations and training
  • Experienced in ISO standards and related auditing
  • Possessing good working knowledge of quality planning tools and lean manufacturing
  • Passionate about quality, accustomed to utilising quality tools
